Solar & Wind Interconnection — 100kV Substation Expansion

The project

Renewables-driven expansion of a 100kV substation: full protection and control relay upgrade for the site, a new control house, and six and a half new relay panels designed by Amped I.

Scope of work

• Three 100kV lines in breaker-and-a-half configuration
• One 69kV line, one 100/69kV auto transformer, one 100/12.5kV transformer
• Six new 12.5kV feeders and two 100kV buses
• New control house layout with 6.5 new relay panels
• Power wiring diagrams, AC/DC panelboard, supervisory schematics
• New and revised remote wiring diagrams for breakers
• Schematics for IFA, comments incorporated, wiring package for IFC
